If you’ve ever seen a strong current on a white rapid river violently gush through its course, Jair is one of those sturdy rocks in the middle of it, solidly withstanding its pressure, amidst the prevailing waters that tries to wear it down. Jair is best described as solid support within the team.

Jair lives with his partner, Courtney. He serves the community from the confines of his home in Hartstine Island, WA which is on the unceded territories of the Squaxin lands. He is the father of Serenity, Ronin, and Isabela.

His adept skills in sales have deemed him Solutions Strategist for Equity Institute and there is not one problem that he hasn’t solved when he lent his skills into the matter of solving it. He has been recognized as an awardee of Cultivating Inclusion Award from Lewis County for serving the Latinx community and helping them navigate spaces that are necessary especially in these times of need.

He was one of the pioneer team members who managed the ERAP project, focusing on Latinx communities and renters to provide stable housing at this time of the pandemic. He created a solid seven-step process to help onboard organizations that partner with Equity Institute in doing the community work, along with managing and mastering mindfulness techniques and being a champion of mental health awareness both at home and also in the workplace.
